Vincent Fallow is a professional German voice actor who has been providing his voice for games, movies, series, anime and radio drama since 2019. Vincent asked me to create a new website that was also supposed to be his vita for acquiring new companies.
The goal of Vincent's new website was to be a great compilation of his work, having quick access to demo tapes is crucial in the voice actor business and the portfolio itself can make or break a first impression. There was one main theme throughout the design, which was "Worthyness of Voice". Vincent has worked with big companies such as Disney, Audbile or Crunchyroll, so it was important to convey this type of "luxuriousness" in the design while also adding the positive and friendly personality of Vincent.
Early in the design process it was decided that the website should only be using grayscale colors, to put an emphasis on the content. There also was a big focus to optimize the UI flow for the intended target group, the people who actually look and hire roles for bigger media projects.
The website also features a simple login-protected vita page that let's Vincent easily compile a PDF of selected projects. This is especially useful when Studios ask for a printed portfolio and Vincent wants to highlight similar work he has already done.
